Colorado: More senseless killing

5 Jan

Seems violence and sickness have one thing in common.  Both of them do not discriminate. They don’t care what you look like, how old you are, if you are male or female, or the color of you skin. They both will come upon you suddenly, and without warning. It is just the 5th day of the New Year, and already, we have another senseless killing in Aurora, Colorado. Will this type of violence ever stop? People, we don’t need this type of murder anywhere on the planet.  While I don’t know all the facts surrounding this shooting, I do know this. A human life is precious, and the taking of it, is never correct. Apparently,  a gunman entered a home, and took the residents hostage. One of the people living there, escaped, and notified the police. What was the shooter’s motive? What was he thinking? Why that family? I don’t know the answers to these questions.  While our hearts and prayers go out to the victims families, may it be a very, very, long time before something like this happens again! This type of killing must stop. We have all types of people in our world, and unfortunately  some who are not thinking clearly.  I saw on the internet where a person had mapped out people’s homes who have gun permits, in their area. I think the jury is still out on that one. Was that a good move, or a dumb move? Only time will tell.  While evil still exists in this world, so will violence, but let’s all do what we can to protect our loved ones, and ourselves. Our lives are too valuable not to.
