12 Dec

It only happens once every hundred years. To some people, this is a significant day. Some people are celebrating, and others waited to get married today. It is strange the way people see these kinds of things.   The next time this will happen will be 88 years from now, on 1/1/1, or 2001.

I feel that this is just another day, and nothing special will happen, but then again, I could be wrong.

Are you watching the 12.12.12 concert from Madison Square Garden in New York? It just started at 4:30p.m  PST. It is to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy. I think that it is a great idea, and I can only imagine the cost and all that went into the planning of this concert. Getting all these performers to attend was probably a nightmare for somebody. My question is why can’t these same people do the same for homeless people? I know that there are many causes out there, and putting together a benefit concert is not easy, but there are numerous people who have nowhere to sleep tonight, and who knows when they last ate? I would like to see a benefit concert to raise funds for them. While we can’t cure all of mankind’s problems, this will certainly help those on the East coast. I say thank you  to all those performers who have given of their time tonight to entertain millions of viewers, and I hope that they raise a ton of money.

Eric Clapton, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, and Paul McCartney are just some of the performers scheduled to perform.
